Our Mission

To diversify the economy of the Bullhead City area through the creation of new private sector capital and employment opportunities

The Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority was formed in 1991 to facilitate attraction of new businesses along with expansion and retention of existing businesses.  Our long-term goals are to increase new employment opportunities, population and tax base.
To accomplish these goals, B.R.E.D.A. pledges to:

  • Provide statistical data to business decision-makers and site selectors
  • Actively market the Bullhead region to targeted businesses and industries
  • Take action to preserve a favorable climate for existing industrial, commercial, and professional businesses and encourage economic development in the Bullhead City region.
  • Provide a business entity to facilitate and promote the business community and the economic well being of the citizens of the Bullhead City region.
  • Maintain close liaison with government agencies and representatives at municipal, county, state and federal levels to achieve the goals of the organization.
  • Provide information to the public and the business community regarding the organization and its activities.
  • Work closely with other business entities and associations as well as nonprofit entities and community groups to achieve the goals of the organization.
  • Retain, promote and facilitate economic growth and employment opportunity in the Bullhead City region.
  • Promote and facilitate small business access to capital resources.
  • Package SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans for clients who qualify and request that service, as well as assist with the development of business plans for any entity in the region.
